Even Technology is Comprised of Binaries

In modern society nothing is a better indicator of how we think than technology because 56% of the world has access to the internet, and many spend the majority of their time awake on the internet.  Technology has been created to mimic our actions and our world, and that is why computers work off a binary system as well. It’s often difficult to administer online surveys because certain aspects have to be required, including gender. In many surveys people who did not select male or female selected other and it left holes in the data and software that made it easy for the websites to be hacked. As artificial intelligence and other code based technology becomes more prevalent in our day to day lives, the binary system that we function within today has the potential to expand greatly to ultimately decrease human creativity and individuality.
